ITEM DETAILS: Winter is just around the corner!! We’ve already had one good snowstorm, and I’m sure there’ll be more to follow. And we have just the truck for you – this Blazer! Inexpensive, NO RUST, great shape for the miles, and with some nice options. We got this on trade towards an RV, and the owner was a state employee. The state handles maintenance on employee vehicles, up to 200,000 miles. This truck has been WELL maintained! You can see in the photos, there is some staining in the carpets, and a hole from the drivers heel (just in the carpet, the floor is solid). The rest of the interior looks really good, though, and I didn’t see any rips in the seats and the headliner is not drooping at all. The dash looks great and so do the door panels. All the power accessories seem to be working like they should, including the a/c (but it’s 40 degrees out so it’s hard to be sure). The worst thing I noticed inside is a slight whiff of coolant when the heat is on. There are no wet spots in the carpet, and it does NOT overheat. We added some Bar’s Leaks stop-leak to the system as a precaution. Outside, there a couple small scratches and dings consistent with 200k miles…but I couldn’t find any signs of paint work or body damage on it. The worst part is the torn lower front bumper cover – it’s just plastic, you can either live with it the way it is or probably pick one up at a junkyard for not too much money. And like I said – there’s not a speck of rust on it to be found. One other nice thing – the headlights are nice and clear. Lots of them turn yellow and cloudy…not these. They may be new lights, or the owner just kept them nice and clean, but either way it means they took care of the truck and paid attention to the maintenance. You can see that in the photos – all the paint looks good, it seems to match from panel to panel, the tires are excellent…this is a solid truck. And, it runs great. No noises out of the engine. Good oil pressure on the gauge. Quiet exhaust. Nice shifting from the transmission. Good steering and brakes. I also went to a gravel parking lot to try the 4x4, and while the LED’s in the buttons don’t seem to work…the 4x4 does. 4LO is definitely a LOW gear, too – wow! Now, I didn’t go hunting for “extreme trails” or anything…but from what I could tell on gravel, the system seems to be working like it should. We’ve got a great deal on this one for you – check out that price! But one way we’re keeping the price that low is, we’re not putting a ton of shop time into it. That means, it’s not inspected…so we’re selling it out-of-state only. Sorry, Maryland buyers…we’re not allowed (by law) to sell a vehicle in-state unless its inspected. But anyone else has a chance to get a great deal on a nice little 4x4 SUV here. It’s solid. It runs like a champ. It’s clean. It’s got nice options. And, it’s got a great price! Since we’re only selling it out of state, all the winning bidder will have to do is get insurance coverage on it, pay me an extra $20 on top of the purchase price for a MD 60 day temp tag…and that’s it.
