Vehicle Detail
Hello, I am selling my '86 944, it runs and drives great. As you can see I have other toys and my wife said I had to get rid of one so.... The good, new brakes, new AC compressor, tires are new they have 10k on them(P215/60TR16 BLK DOT # 3D5JT813308). I bought them in 2010 and they have been rotated, new stereo (head unit and front and rear speakers), new battery, the oil is changed every 3K miles with Moblie 1, the interior is in good to fair condition. You can see the usual cracks in the dash, back seats are like new. As you can see it has a ton of maintenance records over 50 pages. This car has been taken care of. The head lights work, the Clutch and timming belt has been replace. The Axles have been rebuilt. It even has the air compressor for the spare tire. The paint is fair, it shines very well when waxed. You may want to put an antenna on the car because the one built into the windshield doesn't work very well, it has a direct I Pod charger player with the head unit so that is what I listen to. I have replaced the fog lights also with OEM. I only drive it in the spring and fall. The car stays garaged other than that. Also comes with a Porsche Bra. Does not leak or burn oil. I do not believe the car has been smoked in, I do not smoke and was told by the person I bought it from that it was smoke free. The bad, the AC and heater does not work. There is a leak in the AC but I haven't tracked it down. I do not know what is wrong with the heater. I was just going through some of the record and shows where the heater valve was turned off, so it could be as simple as that, but I do not know. The car does have some hail damage. I tried to get it to show up in the pictures but its not as good as I would hope. There is a small area on the hood that shows engine heat, if you know these cars a lot of them have this. I believe moisture is getting into the distributor cap because if it sits at work or over night in the rain then it is hard to start. The engine cranks just won't fire, but other wise it starts right up. The sun roof doesn't work but it doesn't leak so I never messed with it. It could just be a fuse or maybe something worse, I don't know. On the Vehicle History Report I turned in the hail damage, it was not a wreck I live in Oklahoma and drove it down to Galveston, TX this spring with out a problem. I have been driving it to work the last 3 weeks and rethinking selling it but couldn't talk my wife out of it. This car is fast and fun to drive. I have never let anyone other than my wife drive the car. My boys stay mad at me for that, lol. Buyer is responsible for shipping I will help if needed to get it to the shipper if its in the Okc area. Sale is final, no refunds.
