Vehicle Detail

Fabulous 2000 Toyota Tundra Access Cab 4X4. Only selling due to purchase of new Tundra. Only three owners (first two were son-in-law / mother-in-law combination). Truck has 142000 miles. I purchased truck with 118,000 miles. This truck has never had any damage. All paint is original. There are 2 small marks in the paint above the gas tank lid that I tried to show in pictures, otherwise no dents, dings or scratches or rust. Clean CarFax. All oil changes since new were with synthetic oil. Truck has Rhino liner and Roll and Lock bed cover. There are two things that you should know about this truck. First, it has cigarette burns in driver seat (see pics). I rented an ozone air cleaner to remove odor. Second: the airbag light stays on. After having a new airbag module installed to no avail, I decided to drive the truck with the aribag module unpluged to eliminate the light, but would never sell the truck that way. Since the new airbag module did not turn the light off that leaves the culprit as being the seat belt retractor, which I have not bothered to replace. I have now told you everything negative about the truck. The other thing you should know is that 100% of these trucks will need several expensive repairs around 100000 miles. These repairs have all been done on this truck. 1) Timing Belt: DONE at 122,572 miles. Also put on new radiator, new water pump at this time. 2) Exhaust maniforld replacement. DONE at 123,400 miles. Check out www.tundrasoutions.com and you will see the most popular fix for the bad factory manifolds is replace with headers, which I love. Performance increase was incredible (BTW I'm 58 years old.....not a hot-rodder). Headers also gave me about 1mpg increase in economy. 3) Starter:( $800+) DONE at 123,250. Interestingly, the starter is under the intake manifold, causing the labor to be more than the part. In addition the truck had a new windshield installed at 132,724 miles, new exhaust with two 02 sensors and new fuel filter at 123,750 miles. Frame was warranty replaced last month under Toyota recall ($9,900) and at that time I installed all new shocks, front stabilizer links and trailer hitch. Truck has BR Goodrich Rugged Trail TA tires installed at 122,500 miles and complete transmission service at 123,750. You can see that this never misused truck has been meticulously maintained and it is selling with no reserve.
