Vehicle Detail
*1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible* *NO RESERVE* Project consolidation and space constraints provide for the offering of my 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible at NO reserve. Purportedly a 4 owner Arizona and Colorado car. This week, Barrett Jackson in Scotsdale as well as Mecum in Kissimmee, are under way... Tune in to see what 1970 & '71 442 & Cutlass SX convertibles bring. Documented 442 convertibles start to exchange hands in the $50K neighborhood. I purchased this with the intention of re-creating a 442 convertible. These are difficult to source and highly sought after for this purpose. Essentially, they are the identical platforms of the Cutlass 442 and SX cars. Originally a Rocket 350 with a TH350, it now has a 403 with a TH400. There are no annoying drips or leaks from the engine, the carburator was recently rebuilt. At 42 years of age, it is not a rusted out bucket, however, it does naturally have some quarter panel rust. Everything for these cars is readily available through OPGI, Year One and other suppliers. The Cutlass does presently start, idle, drive and stop. The TH400 shifts through all forward gears and reverse. Power steering and power brakes. Power top, it will need replacing. All 4 tires are recent and have good tread. The windshield is cracked, all other body glass is good. One could drive the car while restoring it...ideally, the buyer will take the car off the road and restore it properly from start to completion, in time for summer enjoyment. Original paint code is 45, Aspen Green (light green) You are bidding to purchase the Oldsmobile, not to be the first to look at it. Thank you. Please have your funding in place prior to placing your bid. Understandably, at 42 years of age, the Cutlass is sold in "as is" condition with no expressed, written or implied warranties. If you are new to eBay, have 0% or excessive negative feedback, you will need to call me to express your intentions prior to placing your bid. This is mandatory after an experience last week with a 0% bonehead in Indiana. If you bid without calling first, you're bid will be cancelled and you will be blocked from further bidding. No exceptions. A $1000.00 initial payment is due VIA PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. The balance is then due and payable within 7 days thereafter, under condition & arrangement made between myself and the buyer. The balance is to be paid VIA a legitimate bank to bank wire transfer, as it provides a documented record of the transaction for both parties. I will accept PayPal for the full purchase provided the buyer pays ALL PayPal related fees. (approximately $30 per $1000.00) Transportation and delivery are the sole responsibility of the buyer. The car and I are located in the Colorado Springs vicinity. Clean Colorado title Trailered door to door delivery is possible within the lower 48 states for $1000.00. (non-negotiable) I can also recommend a reputable shipper, if needed. Inspections are welcome and will be facillitated to the best of my ability prior to the auction concluding. Buyers from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Europe, Australia and New Zealand are welcome and encouraged to bid with confidence. Call me directly with any questions or to present your "buy it now" offer. Do NOT call and ask me "what's the lowest that you'll take?" Bid what you can afford and are willing to pay for the 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible, that you see before you. Thanks for looking and good luck when you bid! Jeff 719.492.1234, c
