This is a NO RESERVE auction for TWO street legal VW Manx style dune buggies. One is a 1965 (red) and the other is a 1974 (orange). The colors look similar in the photos, but the 1974 has a roll bar and the 1965 does not. The two buggies are being sold together for one price. The ‘65 is in great shape with a newer body and newer restoration. This buggy runs like a dream. There is only one item that may need attention. The gas tank has a small leak that only leaks when the tank is filled all the way up. It comes with a roll bar and rear tube bumper system and both can be put on easily if buyer wants to. It also has a back seat, but it has not been fully installed. This buggy is ready for the road. The ‘74 does run well but needs some finishing touches to be 100% ready to go. Recently we have had a full tune up done. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, etc. It also has a new battery, new fuel line, new steering wheel, new brakes and has had suspension work. I was planning on rewiring the buggy but found no time to do so. The new wiring harness is included. The floor pans do have some holes in them but not bad enough to keep from driving the buggy or being a safety issue. The body is in overall good shape but does have some issues. (See pictures). These buggies are fun and they don’t cost much to maintain. There are many additional parts and accessories included with the sale. Some of the items are: Tow bar Additional engine block Engine stand Roll bar Rear tube bumper system New wiring harness (for the 1974 buggy) A few boxes of miscellaneous new and used parts I have both titles in hand. TERMS - $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. Remainder is due within 7 days of auction close via cashier check or cash. NO personal checks will be accepted.
