I am simply stunned at the resale value of these Jaguars. They are really great cars that are haunted by their past reputation. Since Ford purchased Jaguar, their build quality has improved immensely and rivaled their Japanese counterparts. In fact, consumer reports gave this Jaguar a 5 star rating for reliability.
This Jaguar was purchased new at a local Los Angeles Jaguar dealership. In April of 2001, the 2nd owner purchased the car as a “certified pre-owned” car from the same dealer with 18,000 miles. The car was always serviced at the Jaguar dealership until the 2nd owner sold the car to the current owner about 2-years ago with 114,000 miles. The current owner is also a mature and retired professional who knows how to care for his cars. Besides installing new tires and brakes, he performed several oil services. The last oil service was just a few weeks ago. The tires have over 75% life remaining and the brakes are at least at 50%. Also, he had new power steering lines installed as well as new engine mounts. This Jaguar is ready to be enjoyed.
