I am a used car wholesaler. I make my living selling cars at the dealer auctions. I got this car as a potential project but with the opening of my 2nd facility I just don't have the time for it.... Here's the deal. I am always completely honest and open with my descriptions. This one is a bit rough around the edges... It's a 1995 BMW 540i V8. The LAST of the e34's. This car needs work. It's complete and intact, not one part has been removed (there are a few missing trim pieces as seen in the photos). The battery is dead but the engine does run with a jump and it does drive FORWARDS, quite well actually. AC is cold, everything seems to work. The trans slips in reverse when cold, and it has NO reverse when warm. I'm selling it as-is where is with NO warranty expressed or implied. This car would probably make a great candidate for a drivetrain swap OR a fixer upper, or an Unbelieveable parts car. I just don't have the time or the inclination to part it out. I have not driven this car besides around the parking lot and once for about 3 miles. The car has a matched set of Borbet aftermarket 16" wheels (the 4th one is in the trunk with a torn tire on it). The interior is a bit dirty and the leather shows typical BMW wear but it's not torn, overall I'd rate the interior as fair. The body is in very good shape showing almost NO RUST! (There are some cracks in the lower fairing) I'm letting it go for no reserve. Last bid wins. Please understand that this is NOT a car you are going to drive home. I can assist with wholesale shipping, or we can help you load it onto your trailer, BUT you aren't going to get in fire it up and take off. These e34's are getting rare and some of the parts are very valuable. You could easily make 3-4k or more parting this car out if you took the time to do so. Now as far as paperwork and titles etc. I DO have a valid free and clear title to the car. IF you live in New Jersey. I have to collect the 7% sales tax and a $50 title reassignment fee. You would then take the paperwork to DMV and flip the title into your name, not tax would be due, you would just have to pay for the title work there. If you live in another state then no sales tax is due you are responsible for your own taxes in your home state.
