1983 Jeep CJ 7. 4.2 l engine, 4 speed transmission. 186 K miles. (was told engine was rebuilt at some point but no proof available) This jeep has a body and suspension lift with 36" Super Swampers. Paint looks good from 10'. Frame is in great shape. Runs good. I'm not into Jeeps I bought it last year because my kids thought it was cool. I think they drive like go carts. This has a lot of sway becuase of the lift and there is some play in the steering box. I think it will need a clutch or clutch adjustment at some point, could of sworn it slipped back in the summer. The Jeep is only a 4 speed therefore it is not very fast maybe 50mph tops. I would not drive it on the highway. I put the top and doors on it for the winter in case for some reason I had to take it out of the garage. Lots of rattles with them on. I drove it in the summer with no top or doors. Great fun in the summer time around town, gets lots of attention. It is an eye catcher for sure. People tell me all the time how cool it is but like I said it's not for me. Time to get it out of the garage and clear up some space. The floors were replaced/repaired at some point. Buy it and fix it the way you want this winter. I have a lilmited time to show the vehicle but can usually after 7pm. Please use your own judgement as far as condition. I'd bring a trailer to haul it home unless you are local (like I said lots of sway and tops out at maybe 50mph). No Reserve! Now for the legal stuff: It's an AS IS sale. I accept cash. Checks are fine but they must clear before vehicle is removed from property. Please no scam (it won't work). I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 4 days of end of auction, remainder of balance within 2 weeks. No title available due to NH not requiring one on such an old vehicle.
