Vehicle Detail

Very cool and sharp 1956 Buick. This is a custom cruiser!! It has 2 tone Metallic Maroon and Brite White exterior paint. All the stainless trim has been polished. The front and rear bumpers have been rechromed. It has been shaved on the hood and trunk. It has won over 15 best of show and best in class awards. This car turns heads everywhere we go. Suspension has been lowered by removing 1 1/2 coils on the front and 1 on the rear. I planned on bagging it and have new standard springs that go with it. All other suspension is original. All front end bushings have been replaced. Has Coker radials to improve handling. They have 2 in. white walls. The brakes are original with new shoes and turned drums. Engine is original 322 Nailhead. I had it rebuilt less than 2000miles ago. It was bored .30 over with new pistons and rods. Has a Comp cam (specs. will go with car) just to make it rumble a bit. Has stainless dual Smitty's glass packs and stainless pipes. Heads were reworked with hard seats to run better with unleaded gas. Added chrome valve covers. Original 2bbl carb. Bypassed the mechanical fuel pump and added an electric mounted in the frame rail. Has original 12v. generator that was rebuilt. (extra brushes go with it). Ignition is original with new coil. Have 3 extra sets of points that go with it. Transmission is original DynaFlow that was rebuilt. Still has original tourqe tube drive shaft with new bushings. Interior is 2 tone to match the outside. Tuck and roll front and back. Carpet is maroon. I added the front seatbelts. All interior paint matches outside of the car. Added the CD/AM/FM and mounted it in glovebox. All the interior chrome has been polished. Also have extra interior parts. Head liner is tuck and roll to match as is rear shelf deck. The dice theme is all over the car. Standard fuzzys on mirror of course but this one has shifter knob, valve stem caps, license plate bolts, door locks and air cleaner nut. Exterior is 2 tone maroon and white. All chrome and stainless has been polished. Paint is over 10 years old and still looks good but could use a refresh. Local shows and cruise nights this is a winner. The lake pipes are moulded into the body and look great. The duals are in the rear and have chrome tips. The custom moulded dual antennas work great. All the glass is good and clear. The windshield has a few age bubbles but no cracks. The wind flappers on both doors were removed, cleaned, lubed and reinstalled. They work just like in 1956. The dummy spots are just like they had in the 50's. The tube grill was custom fabricated for the car. Now here is what I haven't repaired or replaced. The chrome on the door handles is pitted. The vacuum windshield wiper motor needs to be repaired. The transmission will "burp" fluid if it isn't driven often. An old Buick mechanic told me they did that new in 56. The rear view mirror is original and has a dark spot. If you see something in question, email me and I'll send more pictues. On Jan-14-13 at 16:32:33 PST, seller added the following information: Someone asked for additional pictures of the trunk, passenger side, and door handles. I have added them
