I had to relist this item as ebay cancelled the auction. I want to clarify this is a salvaged title. But I also want to state that this VW is in excellent condition. Here is a an email that I answered about the salvaged title.The seller stated that when it was involved in the light collision the insurance adjuster said that it was to expensive to repair so he took the insurance check and had it repaired a a reputable body shop and paid the difference. My son also had it checked out by the local VW dealer when he purchased it they looked it over and confirmed that all repairs were done correctly, and it was a very good Vanagon.I also had a few questions about the appliances. Thanks Patrick This a great Wesfalia which my son has used mostly to go surfing and the family has used all over the west coast for one or two great camping trips a year, with never any issues. Regrettably we have not had the time to use it for a couple of years and we just don’t use it enough, and it would be a shame to continue keeping it in storage with no real plan. This van runs and drives great! It is in really good condition and has always been maintained properly, and regularly. The interior is in very nice condition, the only thing it would need to make it perfect is new curtains. As you can see in the pictures. The body has a few very minor dents and scrapes but not from real accidents just parking lot stuff. You can see a little rust in the pictures but it is pretty much surface stuff, with one rust spot on the hatch. In the pictures you can see that it needs a new plastic corner for the bumper, I just haven't put them on yet. It is currently registered so it is ready to hit the road. I live in Manhattan Beach California and that is where the van can be seen and picked up from. If you win it and need to fly in to get it, the closest airport is Los Angeles. I need the van to be paid for within 7 days of the auction ending but I can store the van longer and safely if needed, just please discuss the details with me before bidding. Also I need a deposit within 24 hours of the auction.
