ACM AFFORDABLE CLASSICS MOTORCARS LLC QUALITY AND VALUE AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE ***** PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE OVER 90 HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURES ***** ***** PLEASE CALL (216) 990-8207 TO NEGOTIATE PRICE AND END AUCTION EARLY ***** What is it about muscle cars from the early 1970s that make them so appealing? It is their perfect combination of aggressive styling and performance? Is it their satisfying exhaust note, answered by just a tap of the accelerator? Is it their eye-catching color combinations? You will wonder no more when you’re behind the wheel of this stunning 1973 Ford Mustang convertible. One of only 1,267 Mustangs finished in optional Blue Metallic Glow paint, this car also features optional Argent body side stripes—an even rarer option. Its contrasting white convertible top features a glass backlite. This car’s laser straight finish has a brilliant luster that complements its Blue Sebring knit and Corinthian vinyl bucket seats. Its more recently refurbished interior includes new seat covers, interior door panels, dash pad, and carpeting. An optional décor group and console make for a very comfortable and sporty look, as does its newer White convertible top boot. Under the hood is its original 351C CID V-8, mated to its optional Select-Shift Cruise-o-Matic three speed automatic transmission. Power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning complete the package. Also featuring a dual exhaust system, this car runs and drives as well as it looks, having only 87,000 original miles. A few items of note are that the car’s clock does not currently function. In addition, minor imperfections in the paint do not detract from the overall appearance. The convertible top is original to the car, and has a small tear on the driver’s side sail panel that has been repaired. Additionally, the car’s air conditioning system has been updated to R-134a, but has never been charged. Also included is the original paperwork from sale, including a copy of the window sticker and the original sales invoice from the dealer. A Marti Auto Works Deluxe Report and available service records will also be provided to the next owner of this car. A gauge cluster with wire harness, including full gauges, speedometer, and tachometer, as well as a 4 barrel intake manifold will also be included. Originally sold on February 22, 1973 by Joe Machens Ford of Columbia, Missouri, the original owners subsequently moved to Los Cruces, New Mexico, where the car resided until 2004, at which time the most recent owner purchased it. Since his acquisition, the car has always been properly maintained and stored indoors, and only taken out on nice days for parades and pleasure drives. If a well cared for, two-owner Mustang convertible in a phenomenal color combination is what you desire, this car is for you!
