Vehicle Detail
I am posting this ad for my fiance, who does not currently have an Ebay account. Here is his description of his truck: I am the 3rd owner according to insurance records. Just noticed the history report says 6 owners due to it being registered 6 times. It's a 1988, with 83,000 original miles. 410 rear end. 5 speed trans. The front seats are out of a newer model Explorer, full power seats. Center console is out of a newer model Super Duty. Pioneer sound system with sub under back seat. Body is straight, dually fenders solid, aluminum tool box in bed, bed has spray liner, frame is solid, light surface rust only. Truck has dual tanks. Full length running boards on both sides with 16 working chicken lights total. It's not a brand new truck, it's a 1988, the 7.3 was built to last and this truck has plenty of miles left in it, it's not even broke in yet. The paint's not perfect but looks good at about 15ft away. The brake pedal is soft, as is common with many of these trucks, but it stops fine. The rear driverside door lock does not work, so is locked shut (it jammed and haven't had time to fix it). The heater will set you on fire and the AC will freeze you out. I hate to sell it, and don't really want to, but thanks to a lady running a red light and hitting me on my motorcycle, I am currently out of work and don't have the money for bills. Is a great work truck, good for towing/hauling/doing whatever you need it to. It is also for sale locally, so auction could end at any time. Mileage is subject to change. Remember the truck is 25 years old, it's not a showroom new truck. It is used and driven frequently. It's being sold "as is". Thanks for looking, please contact me with any questions. The good, see above. The bad, rear drivers door stuck shut, idiot ran a red light forcing me to sell my truck.
