One Owner from new, 1958 Dodge Swepside, Hemi V8, Push Button Drive, Parked in the barn in the early 70's, with only 68K original miles. This is a great barn find! One owner and very rare 1958 Dodge Swepside, one of only 60 or so known to exest. This truck has original paint, but it has been spotted in, in a cupple of places. The spair tire mount on the side, is one spot that was tuched up when it was instaled by the dealer in Lewiston Idaho when the truck was new. It has a few dings and dents, but is mostly original. The truck has no rust and the original paint under the fenderwells even shows good. It's running a period correct Hemi, with it's push button three speed TorqueFlite transmission. The Hemi engine, starts easy, and runs smouth. The transmission shifts as it should, but the rear end dose make some noise. (has some slop in the ring and pinion) This swepside is a running and driveing truck, that is mostly original. The gas tank was pulled and cleaned, carb kitted, fluids changed, new brushes in the generator, battery, brakes bled and then the truck started right up. Brakes seem ok, but could be looked at. The cardboard headliner and door boards are the original, and it has the original rubber floor mat. All paint on the inside looks nice, even the gages are bright. The seat was reupholstered, with the correct 1958 material and looks great. All glass is good with no chips or cracks. The windows roll up and down nicely, and doors shut tight. All lights work, but the horns do not. Tires are old with very little tred left. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can.
