FLA SALVAGE COD CAR.YOU CANNOT REGISTER THIS CAR LIKE IT SITS.HERE'S THE STORY, This a very nice Low milage 1987 Corvette convertible ,with a sweet 5.7 tune port motor,that I bought a several years back.It was wrecked in the front on the passenger side and I had it fixed.The damage was very minor.It hit a pole on the passenger side.It busted the hood,headlight and the front bumper.It did NOT touch the frame.It did bend the passenger side upper control arm.I replaced the hood and bumper and the control arm with parts off a 86 red car I bought.I also replaced the rear bumper cover,from the same red car,because there was a tear,probably from the wrecker, in the bottom of it.I had the parts painted black and had the car lined up.It drives Great. Here's the kicker,*******What I was unaware of is that this car was issued a Fla ,certificate of destruction,(COD) salvage title and I can not get it titled in Alabama and assume most other states.I had a dealer license up until last year so I just ran a dealer plate on it when I drove it.This car will be SOLD WITH A BILL OF SALE ONLY,THAT WILL SAY,SOLD FOR PARTS ONLY.I have NO idea why they choose to COD this car.It was hardly hurt.It is ashame. With all that said, this would make a great donor car for another Corvette with a good title,or use what you want and build a street rod and sell the rest.I am offering this car complete,this one time only on ebay.If it doesn't sell.I will rip it apart and sell it piece by piece for parts.The car has 79875 original miles and runs and drives Great.Actually it is one of the tightest best driving c-4,I have ever had and I have had about 23.Everything works!!!!!! The digital dash looks like new with NO fade at all.The dash is perfect along with the steering wheel.You can tell this car was garaged and babied most of its life.The seats are still very nice and the top is like new and original to the car.The headlights and Even the original radio still works although the power antennea quit a few months ago.The car will come just like you see in the photos.*** The only damage on the car is a cracked spot in the center of the hood(see photos) where it was accidently closed with a large tool on the intake plenum.It did not hurt nothing but the hood and It is a easy fix.If you don't want the Speedline wheels and tires bring your own wheels and tires and you can knock 500.00 off the selling price.
