This 1963 Ford Fairlane was owned by my grandmother who purchased the vehicle new in 1963. I still have the original owner’s manual for this car. All of the glass and even the headlights are original. The interior is original except for the carpeted flooring and fabric seat material. The exterior red was repainted in 1989 and there is professional body work on this car. The body work is on the lower rear quarter panels, rocker panels, the lower rear parts of both front fenders and the top of both front fenders. The hydraulic brake lines (steel tubing and rubber flex) and master cylinder have been replaced. The wheel cylinders, drums and linings were replaced 3 years ago. The cylinder head of the engine was removed last year and completely rebuilt and modified to run on unleaded fuel. The exhaust manifold was also replaced. The radiator was replaced approximately 3 years ago, I still have the original. The engine block and transmission have never been rebuilt, the transmission has had the filter and fluid changed. The engine was detailed and painted last year. It has always been garage kept. This car runs smooth and is very reliable. This is a great introductory classic vehicle for someone who enjoys driving and or showing autos, but can’t afford the higher line muscle cars or vintage antiques. I am selling this car because I don’t have the time or space to drive it, show it or store it anymore.
