2005 Chevrolet 3500 Duramax Diesel, Allison Trans, Solid AxleAprox. 87,430 Mi.Very good to excellent condition overall. No leaks, no repairs needed & everything works.Original ownerAny and all major service work (Truck has had very few repairs) was completed by the dealer, Avenue Chevrolet in Batavia, IL (Now closed). Any General Motors dealer will be able to pull up service info on this vehicle with the Vin# provided here. Front Axle swap-*I have a full set of photo's of the axle swap upon request*Axle swap was installed at 28,000 Mi. I have had zero issues and approaching 90,000 mi. $5,000 invested IN JUST THE AXLE. Over $10,000 in front end conversion. Axle assembly was built by SOLID AXLE Industries, Lima OH.ARB Air locker diff, chromoly axle shafts, heavy duty knuckles, Warn hubs, 4:11 ring & pinion. Hydraulic assist steering. Front and rear spring packs were built by Atlas Spring. Lift is aprox. 10".Bilstien 5150 series gas charged piggyback shocks front and rear.Tires- Dick Cepek 36-15.50-18 Fun Country's. 70 to 80%+ on the front 50+ on the rear. Note on the tires- I recently replaced all front tie rod ends. Steering crossover bar as well as tie rod itself. I waited a little too long to get to the alignment shop which is why the rear tires are worn the way they are. Tires have been rotated. Front end has been aligned. Rims- Cepek 18x12 Royal Purpal fliuds throughout the truck.AirAid intake, brand new K&N filter.Silver Line exhaust- 4" turbo back.No internal engine work or mods.Driver side exhaust manifold was replaced with a BD-Power manifold very early on. Factory manifold is constricted at the steering stem and was believed to cause cylinder burndown on the Duramax. Factory manifold included. I built the front bumper, it is winch ready with a roller fairlead. Winch is not included. It is also drilled to accomodate Mack Truck tow hooks. Center is 1/2 plate, wings (sides of the bumper) are 1/8". Interior is in excellent condition. I am not a smoker, truck was never smoked in. No rips, no tears. Seats were always covered. Some wear and minor scratches on doors.The bed has a fresh coat of Rhino Lining. Considering this is a snow belt truck, the undercarriage is in excellent condition with very minimal rust. Truck was treated upon purchase with a factory rust preventative & I have applied a rust inhibitor coating several times over the years and truck was washed asap after snow/salt events.
