PLEASE READ , i have added a buy it now price due to the amount of watchers i have atm on my car , . not mandatory as you know but this option is now there , if not good luck to the winning bidder !!!! , please give me a call before buying now if this is used , i normally dont use this do to scammers in the past telling me to send THEM money after using it . hi this is my 78 ta 400 4 speed car , rebuilt the trans last year for $1800 shifts like butter the HURST t-top car , has all 4 8" snowflake rims , cars interior is in great shape for the year , needs a headliner . only problem is i spun a bearing on the crank ,was not due to beating on the car , i had the alluminum tube pop out of the valve cover , that goes to the air cleaner so ran low on oil , for $300 you can get the crank cut , and reinstall , car has msd ignition , edelbrock manifold and a weber mechanical carburetor , car has some rust on the pass door and pass rear quarter and the smalll strip above the trunk , not bad at all for these cars ,left side of car is virtually rust free, FRAME IS NO RUST ,needs one passenger small rear floor pan , TRUNK IS SOLID. the car wiould start and move but i wont risk more damage of the crank , so to come veiw the car call me 516 804 2155 or 516 221 9704, johnny , price is firm i can do this crank myself and keep using the car , so no low ballers have the original BUILD SHEET for the car , this is also a MATCHING # motor car has been on the road till last month TA/6.6 W72 NOT 6.6LITRE CAR high performance motor closed chamber heads factory ,even more rare . for a ta/6.6 matching # motor hurst car 4 speed this is listed CHEAP . i have a spare set of door hinges as well and headlights, marker lights ash trays , all goes along with the sale doors work fine as they are no rocker hits. this is my car of 7 years hate to part with her but need to get up $$ to finally get a house , look for my other auctions , harleys and all cars are going , ty good luck all my current listings i will consistantly update if need be , like to keep my feedbacks at the current %100 :) the steering column is tilt the tilt is perfect , the bearing closer to the wheel needs to be replaced mechanic easy fix , not mechanic can change column for 100 bucks off ebay , see em all the time . power steering box is mint , the power steering pump is leaking some , so $60 for a new one , or do the large oring on it for $5 interior is black fabric not leather my cell # 516 325 4567 for questions the air ducts for the heat are out from under dash , way i got it 7 years back , think he wanted the fan or something or a heat door , not sure , i have all the ducts still so no worries there , car still warmed inside to me in the winter , just never put em back up , none the less i have em all OK UPDATE: more pics , and forgot i have a BRA AND T-TOP BAG not new but they serve their purposes , i didnt use the bra , dont like covering up the best nose a TA had , the 78 this car , which i liked is not power locks windows , so no slow window stuff like all ta's roll em up by hand , lol , not too hard ok las 2 pics , i tried my best to get some bottom pics , as ya can see some surface rust , nothing a peice of sandpaper and paint wont take care of , the car was undercoated at one time , wearing off. nothing but surface other then that one rear small floor pan passenger , that needs replace the rear end , was an old leak !!! , replaced front seal and no more , just never cleaned the gear oild back up , no rear end leak
