Vehicle Detail

I have up for your consideration a 1972 MG MGB - I purchased the car from a friend who was going on a Mission trip and needed the funds. I have had the car for a year, in which time my friend passed away, so I still have it. I have a clear title, and don't know much about the car except for what he wrote for me on a note. The note shows: NEW All the brake lines have been replaced. U joints, rack boots, tie rod ends, sway bar bushings, wheel cylinders, fuel pump, and distributor: New Vinyl Top, tires. REBUILT Master Cylinder, Clutch Master & Slave, Throttle Shaft Carbs. ADDITIONAL ITEMS: 2 new floor pans, not installed yet Exhisiting floor pans don't look bad to me, so I am not sure why he was going to replace them. PLEASE NOTE: You will have to look at the vehicle and decide for yourself, as i know nothing about the vehicle except for what I was told when I purchased it. I do know, that it use to be gold in color and is now green. The inside of the doors, trunk and under the hood are still gold. It is in relatively good shape. Has 14" spoke rims. The windshield is cracked, but does not interfer with driving. I have only driven the car once and that was to bring it home from my friends garage; over an hour from where it is now stored. I did have a problem when bringing it home, the carberator started smoking. But it did get me here. I feel it was due to the tank being empty when I purchased it, and me filling the tank. I am only quessing, but I feel there must have been some junk in the tank from it being stored, that go sucked up when I drove it. It still has that full tank of fuel, and has been in the garage, covered ever since. I am selling AS IS/WITH NO WARRANTY as I really know nothing about this vehicle other than what I have disclosed here. I would recommend you trailer it from my garage to its next home. I have tried to provide pictures to give you an idea of the condition of the vehicle. Would make someone a great winter project. The car has a manual transmission with 4 forward and a reverse gear.
