2002 XR 650 R model in near new, 100% stock condition. No modifications I bought this bike since it's condition is so very nice. After riding it I realized I was best suited to a smaller sized dirt bike. This bike appears new, it is shockingly clean, 100% factory original bike, even wears the original tires. The bike is one of the only XR650R’s you will ever find that still has the factory speed restrictors in place, never modified in any way. If you want a museum bike for your collection this may be the one. If you want a full bore race bike just get the kit with the unrestricted exhaust tip, unrestricted carb boot, and peel open the air box restrictor, change the jet and off you go. That kit is still available from Honda for about $175.00. It can be a museum bike with attention to two small items. There is a small nick in the decal on the left tank side. This decal is still available from Honda. It could use a new rear tire. This bike has never been raced or abused. The miles shown is a guess since the bike is not equipted with an odometer, it has a resetable trip meter The XR 650 R is the bike that won the Baja 1000 something like 12 years in a row. It is a significant piece of racing history. Caution: Honda sold these bikes with performance restrictors in place for a reason. This is one very capable off-road machine. This bike is not for the beginner or the casual off road enthusiast. I have almost forty years of ridding experience and this bike put my skills to the test.
