Vehicle Detail
Clean, unmolested, totally stock 1991 e34 BMW M5WBSHD9316MBK06054143kA Very well taken care of and well maintained 91 M5. This car was owned for 20 years by the original purchaser, but has been in light usage for the last several years because of the owner's age. As a result, the car has not suffered through the usual shade tree mechanics and ebay bolt-on's of many similar models. That makes this already rare (less than 2000 built for North America between 1991-1993) even rarer because it has been treated appropriately. The car has had over $2000 worth of maintenance work this year, and I have copies of the receipts. As further indication of the M5's unmolested state, it comes with all the original manuals in perfect condition, and a very near untouched toolkit. In addition, the car still wears its original from the factory M System Turbine rims. As you know, the turbine plate detaches to reveal a deep dish 17 inch rim. The picture in the trunk shows what the rims look like without the turbine cap. The body is straight and true, and the original paint still shines very well. There are a few scratches in the clearcoat, but the car looks amazing considering its age. The tires are brand new, with fewer than a few hundred miles on them. Likewise, the interior is in wonderful condition---the seats are all crack and tear free, with supple, soft leather. The dashboard is crack and scratch free. All of the instrumentation works perfectly. The sunroof opens and closes smoothly without any hesitation and does not leak. The car even still has the original M shift knob and OEM floor mats. Many of these cars have had their unique bits taken out and sold, like the M dead pedal and door sills, but this 1991 M5 retains all of the parts that made it a top of the line, world class machine. While this car has been very well maintained, it is not perfect. The front bumper/valence has some light damage and could use a repaint. It is fully intact, but shows more wear than the rest of the car. Likewise, the leather wrapped steering wheel has a hole at the top which has torn through. While a tremendous amount of maintenance has been done to the car, it will likely need new shocks in the rear before long, and the AC Compressor (I Believe) is fairly loud at startup, though after about 2 minutes, or when the car is warm, is silent. Also, the low beams occasionally cut off, though the high beams work perfectly.Other than these minor issues, the car is in great condition. Car is currently located in Columbus, GA (USA), but will shortly be in Atlanta for easier access.email bradjiles@gmail.com or call/text 706/615/188eight with questions or if you'd like to see the car I have 38 more pictures and a video of the car running: http://photobucket.com/1991m5forsale Shipping is the Buyer's responsibility---ebay offers many options for long distance shipping.
