LOOKING FOR A HAPPY HOME >> 1946 Desoto Business Coupe 454 Turbo 400 Nova Sub-frame disc brakes & Rear, Rallys Sorry Not a Hemi car.. OK I have had this Car since 1996 or so And I have worked on it a few different times and cannot seem to get the time to finish it. The Story.. In 1999 a Tornado came thru and relocated and destroyed everything but this Car.. Although it did cause some damage to the trunk lid and the top. The top pushed out and I located a deck lid and hinges (Not pictured) for the car. Not an easy task due to the limited production in 1946. I parted a happy days car for the front seat, hood, grill and fenders. Pictured are some spare fenders front and rear for this car. The Motor is a LOW Mileage GM crate 454 motor that lost a rod nut and spun a bearing. It has been rebuilt with a scat crank, new rods, Hyperultic pistons, crane cam and lifters and a new crane timing chain along with a HEI ignition. The Transmission is a fresh rebuild turbo 400. Never been started. The front end is a power steering disc brake from a 1977 Nova the rear end is also from a 1977 Nova. The 454 has the proper power steering pump mounted. I am selling this and a Hemi 36 Ford Truck in another auction. Just do not have the time to finish either one. Ask questions.. Yes I have proper paper work for this. And the glass is new and included along with the windshield seal.
