Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1970 Chevelle. This is a clean car with all the right parts. The car makes incredible power and will not disappoint. The car has been garaged its entire life and its hard to find one at this price in this condition. It's priced right for the condition and what it has to offer. Its a 1970 Chevelle and its over 40 years old. So here's what the car has. I will be as honest as possible. I dont want to waste your time or money. The car also includes a Massachusetts title that was issued in 2000. The car has not been registered since and was only run on a dealer plate. Rear to find a titled car. 1970 Chevelle. Body is in excellent condition. It was painted 12 years ago. Few very minor spots coming through on the drivers side rear quarter panel right before the fender well. Like I said very minor, but I want to disclose everything. The color has tints or what appears to be metallic. The hood and top of the fenders were painted at a later time and they are a few shades apart. Again you cant see from the pics but it is clearly noticeable in person. The body is very straight and appears to be all steel. The frame is solid. The floors are solid as well as the trunk. It appears that there was some minor work in the trunk. You will not find a cleaner car with the list of parts in this car for this price. The hood is a steel SS hood. The bumpers are painted but they are also steel. No fiberglass on this car. Very clean and solid car. The car is equipped with front disc brakes. The previous owner did the motor build and could not provide me with the specifics. I can tell you that its extremely fast but still reliable. You can drive it anywhere. It had a roll cage that was removed and the floors look great. There are no holes in the floor from the previous cage. Floors are also solid. I was told that car ran 10:90's with this current set up. I didn't believe it until I took the car for a ride. I now believe it is quiet possible. It is a reliable pump gas motor that runs better then a big block. Its a 350 motor with 202 angle plug heads. A balanced motor with forged pistons, steel crank and roller rockers. The motor has an edlebrook dual quad high rise tunnel ram with two edelbrock carburators. It has MSD ignition that includes an MSD distributor, coil and MSD 6AL ignition box. It has a BDS polished scoop style air cleaner. The engine compartement needs to be detailed and I'm in the process of doing that. Updated pics will be posted. There are no oil leaks anywhere on this car. The car has a be cool aluminum radiator, electric fan, and aluminum pulleys. There is also a Holley electric fuel pump. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a manual valve body. NOTE: If you watch the youtube videos I can assure you thats not smoke coming from the exhaust. It was a cold new england day and the car was having traction issues and spinning the tires down the road. The motor doesnt smoke, burn oil, rattle, knock, etc..... The motor has Hooker Super Comp Headers and a full 2 1/2 inch stainless steel exhaust that includes and H pipe. The car has a 12-bolt posi and 411 gears. The car also has extended wheel studs on the front and rear. There are tractions bars and air bags in the coil springs. There is a drive shaft safety loop. The car sits on Weld Drag lites. 15 x 8 in the rear and 15 x 5 in the front. The front tires are in excellent condition. The rear are Mickey Thompson "I" pattern street strip tires. They are in good condition and are approximately 12 inches wide. The motor can spin these tires down the street as long as you want to. If you heat them up they get real sticky and the car bites car. Hurst Quarter Stick shifter with line lock button and working line lock on the car. The interior is in very good condition. There is a newer carpet. There are racing buckets that are solid mounted to the floor. Safety harness seat belts still attached. The rear seat was material matched to the buckets and it looks really nice. The head liner looks great. Door panels look great but there are no arm rest. Dash pad has some cracks. The heater box/core is still in the car. The core was leaking so I removed the heater core hoses and plugged them at the intake and water pump. It appears as though the heater blower fan wires/vents were removed. Needs some odds and ends in the interior but with a few odds and ends it would look really nice. Wipers and motor still on car but they don't appear to be working. There is a 5 inch monster tach with some gauges. Car doesnt run hot and has strong oil pressure. There are several youtube videos that I will attempt to attach as links. You can search my user name cuffed373 to find several videos of the car on youtube. I will film or send any picture or videos that you would like to see. Please do not bid if you do not intend on completing the auction. $500.00 deposit upon sale and complete payment upon end of auction with a money order, cashiers check or cash in person. I am not and I repeat NOT responsible for shipping. I will however assist in any way that I can once payment has been cleared. No returns are excepted and this car is sold as is in running condition. If you in the area then bring your cash and come take this car for a ride. First to drive it will buy it.
