1963 FORD FALCON SPRINT HARDTOP 260ci V8 - 2 speed Ford-o-Matic Transmission VIN - 3R17F154834 You are bidding on an all original 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint Hardtop, 260ci V8 and 2 speed Ford-o-Matic Transmission. The car has manual brakes and steering. This car was originally built and purchased in California. I brought the car to Idaho around 10 years ago and slowly started restoring it. The car was stripped down and repainted to the factory color, Rose Beige, in 2004. I have some pictures of the car through the painting process showing the condition of the body before painting. If you want to see additional pictures please let me know. The car is very clean, well-kept and runs great. It has been garaged since it was painted in 2004. In addition, the car has been driven less than 2500 miles since 2004. The fuel tank and fuel level sending unit where replaced in 2009. The door panels were recently replaced with reproduction panels and rear package tray was reupholstered. The odometer currently reads 38,162 miles; although I am not positive about the actual mileage on the vehicle. The engine has approximately 40,000 miles on it since it was rebuilt. I attempted to show close-up pictures of some items needing repair or restoration in the last three rows of pictures below. These items include, but are not limited to, cracks in the paint where the roof pillar meets the quarter panel on both the driver and passenger side (an inch long or less), two small bubbles in the paint on the passenger side rear quarter panel by the wheel lip, minor chipping and small bubble in the paint on the passenger side rear quarter panel window lip, the front and rear bumpers need to be straighten and re-chromed, the driver’s side seat hinge has a crack and small hole, some chrome pieces on the car have minor pitting, and the transmission pan gasket has a minor leak. I have a couple boxes of spare parts for the vehicle which I will include with the auction as well. The spare parts are mainly small trim pieces, I have two extra factory radios (not tested), the original factory Sprint dash Tachometer (not sure if it works), brake wheel cylidners and lots of ignition parts. In addition, I have a custom made car cover from California Car covers for the car, which I will also include. It is hard to detail every aspect of the vehicle, its condition and any imperfections in the pictures and auction. I have included a lot of pictures and video of the vehicle in an attempt to detail the vehicle from multiple angles so you can see the true condition.
