This particular car is part of musician Neil Young’s personal car collection. Since taking ownership of this vehicle, Neil has put less than 2,000 on the odometer and has kept it garaged with the rest of his collection. Master mechanic Bruce Ferrario has tuned up the engine, performed all needed maintenance and brought the overall performance and functionality up to Mr Young’s specifications. Under the hood is the original 8 cylinder, 430 cid engine. The generator system has been converted to a 94 amp alternator system and there is an upgrade to disc brakes, front and rear. As you will see in the photos, the car has been lowered and has stylish Gino wheels installed, but it can easily go back to it’s original look. In fact, a spare set of wheels is included in this sale, giving the next owner that option…if desired. The exquisite pearl white exterior of the car gives a like-new appearance, but the well preserved interior of this car has not been restored, offering a true vintage look and feel, with the patina that one would expect from a car hailing from 1961. In addition to the original stock radio, a powerful custom sound system has been installed. This includes front and rear speakers, a subwoofer under the front seat and another in the trunk.
