Here is a jeep cj that has been sitting in a local customers back yard since 08.He told me about it and said his son parked it there,covered it up and never got around to it.i bought it from him, went over with a new battery and some starter fluid and it started right up.The clutch would not release so i had it towed to my shop,put it on the lift and freed it up.I topped off the fluids and froze my butt off driving it to the detail shop.I could not beleive how good it looked when i picked it up.I replaced the muffler and tail pipe,freed up the transfer case linkage and locked the hubs.the engine runs perfect,the 4x4 work as it should and will spin all four tires in 4 low,the clutch feels fine,the tranny shifts smooth.The miles are original and correct.I dont know when but someone has done some patch work to the floors that you should be able to see in the picks.there are no door latches,the radio works and of course had a johny cash cd in it.the wipers worked for i minute,i put a quick patch on the left side of the windshield frame and added a ground wire but i think the wipers need a switch.The heat works,the engine runs at the correct temp,the oil pressure is good,the exhaust is quiet[flowmaster],the tires are huge,look like new with no dry rot,the jeep has big ranger shocks and rides like a bucking bronko,just like it should,the steering is nice and tight,the brakes work fine,it looks like it has stainless line,i was surprised they worked at all after sitting that long.the frame looks solid,it has surface rust and there are rust spots on the body,see pics.It came with a bikini top also.This is not a museum piece,it has been sitting under a tarp for years.I have sold alot of jeeps on ebay and there is always alot of interest,mch more than any other car i sell.If you have alot of questions,please call with them as i type slow,spell bad am very busy.508-529-3353,thanks for looking,Tim and as always i dont give out my reserve price but am happy to here offer and end it early for someone with good feedbacks.On Dec-12-12 at 12:12:32 PST, seller added the following information: i am turning this into a no reserve auction,highest bid gets it,thanks Tim
