0 0 1 203 1163 The Greensboro Montessori School 9 2 1364 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 2002 VW Passat GLX Wagon. The car has 136,9XX miles on it and has been well maintained by me since I bought it in 2007. The body and interior show appropriate wear for the cars age and mileage. The good. Mileage is in line with the age of the car, a majority of the mileage comes from highway driving. Leather interior Moon roof Heated front seats V6 engine Paint is in very good condition. Automatic Transmission serviced in the last 18 months. New half shafts. New battery. A/C work perfectly The not so good. Needs one new catalectic converter There is a slight chatter form the right CV joint when cold and cornering hard. Check engine light is constantly on because the catalectic converter is bad. Leather shows some wear on the drivers seat. Back trunk cover won’t retract anymore. Hood shock needs replacing (I may fix it before the car is sold if I have time) Tires are ok, but new owner will probably want new tires in the next year. Kelly bluebook in Fair Condition is $4300. I am asking $2800.00 because of repair(s) needed not because of condition. The car was gone over by my mechanic and was giving a clean bill of health as of May 2012. The car has not been driven much since May.I am selling the car because this car has an automatic transmission and I want to get a car with a stick shift for my soon-to-be-driving-age son to learn on. On Dec-15-12 at 15:59:55 PST, seller added the following information: I was looking at car fax and notice that my car is listed as being in an accident. It was, sort of. I had an old man sideswipe me and his insurance paid so I guess that is considered and accident. The damage was so minor and repaired so easily that I had forgotten about it. But in the interest of full disclosure that was happened. The converter is rusted out but still in place. The car starts and runs fine but is loud because of the hole in the converter.
