Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1988 Porsche 928 S4 because I need more room in my garage. I have owned the car for over 6 years and have had fun driving it and working on it. It is in great running shape after many hours of tinkering with the small components. This is a no accident car, as shown in the vehicle history report. The interior is in great shape with no rips or tears in the leather. The carpets are in good shape with no wear spots. The dash pod has a crack along the center behind the steering wheel (as seen in the pictures), but I never see it from the drivers position. There are a few cracks between the defrost vent openings (as seen on many dashes). The exterior paint is original and has some faded spots and a few scratches in different places. It is a good paint job from 5 feet away. The faded spot is on the roof of the car. This is a sunroof delete car that has more headroom than one with a sunroof. Several components have been replaced/upgraded in the years owning the car. The power steering pump was upgraded to the higher power GTS Pump. The torque tube bearings were replaced at approximately 83,000 miles. While the bearings were repaired, the transmission seals and the RMS were replaced. The transmission fluid was replaced at the same time with Mobil 1 synthetic. When I purchased the car, the previous owner advertised it as having the timing belt replaced. I looked at the belt at that time and it looked good. There is a Rear Muffler Bypass on the car from 928 Motorsports. The car will also come with the original muffler. A remote door lock system has been installed that controls the locks and the release of the rear hatch. The DME was refurbished several years ago because of a no-start problem. When it was refurbished, the latest GTS fuel mapping was update to the chip. The stereo has been upgraded with component MB Quart Speakers up front and component Boston Acoustics speakers in the rear seats. The odometer broke a year ago and the odometer gear was subsequently replaced with a new gear. The fuel filter, air filter, power steering fluid were changed at 83,000 miles. The battery was just replaced this week. The car is not leaking any oil on the ground. I have only used 20W-50 synthetic oil for the oil changes. The oil was changed 300 miles ago, so it does not need to be changed immediately after purchasing the car. The A/C does not currently work because of a leak in the evaporator. I have purchased all the parts needed to recondition the A/C and they will be included with the auction. There are gauges that have been installed in the ashtray lid. The gauges will be removed before selling the car. Please see the pictures below. If you need pictures of anything else, please let me know.
