Hello and Thank You for viewing my auction. You are bidding on the most beautiful color combination that you can have on an e36 convertible bmw. The exterior color is Boston Green and the interior is Dove Grey. This is the first year of the larger displacement 2.8 inline 6 cylinder 24 valve engine which rated around 200 horsepower and has about 15% more torque than the previous 325i models had with the 2.5 inline 6 cylinder. This motor is considered by most bmw enthusiasts as one of the smoothest and strongest motors made and if you do some searching you will see many with 300,000 miles and higher still running beautifully. It is very powerful when you want it to be yet smooth and quiet and gets around 30mpg when driven normally. I had planned on making it "M3" clone but unfortunately have too many projects and am trying to concentrate on an old cadillac I am restoring. The vehicle runs and drives beautifully and will make a great daily driver. It has brand new rear shocks and a couple of window switches along with the brake light switch were replaced recently. The top looks excellent as well. Has a nice JVC cd player and brand new custom leather seat covers to cover up the aged leather seats. The dashboard is perfect with no cracks and the carpet looks excellent as well. The exterior has a couple of dings on the hood (view picture included) and another small ding on the passenger front fender by the little yellow turn signal in the center of the fender. The engine is very clean and looks like new. Top works great and is manually lowered and raised and takes you about 5 seconds to to raise or lower so you do not have to worry about those expensive power top motor repairs like so many of the convertible vehicles out there today. Simply unlatch the 2 locks above your sunvisor and push the top back into the "hideaway" compartment and close the tonneau cover and that is it. Power windows,locks,wipers,turn signals all work. The a/c will need to be serviced if you want a/d in the summer time. The front shocks are getting "spongy" and will need replacement soon. If you are looking for a fun inexpensive convertible that is great on gas and still turns heads and has the inline 6 bmw engine that will last forever if maintained then this is the car for you. If you are looking for a project to restore to like new or make a m3 clone this will be an excellent candidate as it has no rust and if you were to find some seats at the junk yard or reupholster these and reupholster the door panel cards then the interior would look perfect. The e36 bmw convertibles are already beginning to gain collecting status and are sure to go up in value in years to come. You will get looks like a movie star and have a lot of fun in this vehicle. First was if there is damage on the driver side of the vehicle? Answer: No there is no damage on the driver side of the vehicle and the dents on the hood are minor and the one on the passenger side fender above the little light is minor as well and these were not caused by any accident. The passenger side fender was a bike that fell onto the fender. The second question is if the vehicle had any accidents? Answer: I will include a copy of the AutoCheck report and it shows where the vehicle scored a high autocheck and shows no accidents. If the hood was painted and the ding in the fender was fixed and painted and the rear trunk lid painted (small scratches from putting items on it) and the car was buffed out and waxed you would have a very nice looking car. There is a hood in the Craigslist section autoparts of Jacksonville Florida and it is listed as BOSTON GREEN e36 hood for $150 asking price and if you are interested you can call him and make him an offer and if you buy the car I will pick it up and have my mechanic install it for you.
