1940 Streetrod Hotrod Pickup All steel streetrod pickup with no rust. I bought this truck and took several years to build it and it was finished being built in 2006 with the following items done: The top had been chopped 3 inches The bed was shortened 6 inches Installed new bed front panel, tailgate & stake pockets New custom firewall New custom dash Mustang II front suspension installed with new crossmember Frame was sandblasted – New crossmembers with front framehorns boxed All new Dr. K’s wiring was installed Chevrolet motor was totally rebuilt: Bored .030 over with TRW forged flat top pistons, Heads completely redone with all new valves and guides, crank was turned and balanced, new Summit Racing cam installed (282 duration & 465 lift) Turbo 400 transmission was totally rebuilt and installed New Edelbrock intake installed New power brake installed New custom aluminum gas tank installed New Stainless Supertrap mufflers installed New Ceramic coated headers installed New MSD 6AL box installed with New MSD Distributer and Coil New 4-bar for rearend and coilovers were installed New radiator core installed with original radiator tank New electric fans installed Vintage air installed New Lecarra steering wheel installed New Hidden hinges and remote entry installed and door handles removed and smoothed out New custom toneau cover installed Power rack and pinion installed Sony AM/FM CD was installed with Sony 500 watt amp and Sony 8” Subwoofers and 6x9 triax The pickup was rebuilt and finished November 2012 and has 250 miles since rebuild with the following updates: New paint Completely all new interior installed (Seat covers, door panels, carpet, etc.) New Specialty Power electric windows installed New Specialty Power electric 2-speed windshield wipers installed New Edelbrock 600 AFB carburetor installed New Oak floor with stainless strips installed in bed New driver, passenger, and rear glass installed Complete underside has been undercoated New tie rod ends installed All new gauges and sending units installed New rims and tires (215/55/ZR17 rear & 205/50/ZR17 front) New Flaming Rivers Stainless tilt steering column installed New headlamp bezels installed This truck is a very nice looking and driving pickup.
