1965 Mustang Fastback RESTORATION PROJECT, rust free body. It has a 289, AT, 5 lug wheels. It was originally a 4 speed car, but previous owner put the AT in, but the clutch pedal is still there, he just attatched it to the firewall, so you can bring it back to a manual trans if you want. Thr car was parked in a garage in 1983 because the last owner needed a radiator for his other Mustang, so he took it out of this one. Over the years he took a couple other parts off that he needed, the 4 barrel carb, the headers and other small items. So obviously the car is not running. I bought this, my dream car, in 2007, with plans of doing a very nice restomod, black on black, with a supercharged 5.4 from a newer Mustang, but then the economy went bad and my small business was hit hard, so it looks like my dreams of a Mustang Fastback are gone and hopefully someone else can create thier dream car. It has been stored inside my shop. The exterior of the car is rust free and was faded baby blue, I shot some black primer on it just to see how it would look in black. There is just a couple small dents on the front fenders, I was planning on installing new front fenders. The passenger side interior floor pan has a small rust spot that will need to be patched as well as a couple spots inside the trunk.(see pics) The interior is mostly stripped out of the car but it is all there, and in decent shape, but I'm sure whoever gets the car will want to do a whole new interior. A lot of spare parts will come with the car too, as seen in the pics. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Car will need to be towed or trailered.
