Here is our Astro. A ’97 with All Wheel Drive that has never left us stranded, no matter the weather. It has 217312 actual miles. We have been camping all over the USA & this held our large family & pulled a loaded camper without problem (Vortek 4.3 liter engine). Cloth seats, A/C & heat in front & back, 4 very new tires (about 500 miles on them), air shocks in back and two spare wheels/tires (one is the factory pony underneath). The interior is in pretty good shape with the exception of a 2” long rip in the back bench seat, the edges of the headliner has been ripped by our cat & no floor carpet. All the glass is good except a small rock chip in the front windshield. What it needs: · Check engine light is on. · The A/C only comes on when you jump out the compressor and it needs a charge. · I drained the coolant in lieu of chancing it freezing. · It has a brake line leak just above the drivers’ rear wheel area. · I changed the sliding door 50,000 miles ago because the original had some metal fatigue at the latch area (photo available). The original door and two door panels are included. · I took the carpet out because it was wet & dirty. I have the carpet if you really want it. The trim is loose in the vehicle. · The body has various aesthetic dings & dents that tell a story of its’ long life of service to us. I could fix this & be confident in it once again supporting my family, but I have other vehicles & do not have the desire anymore. The car cannot be driven with the brake leak & it should be trailered (vs dolley) because of the All-Wheel Drive.
