Hello! You’re viewing a classic 1984 Mercedes 500 SL. We are the original owner and ordered it direct from Europe and the car has three distinct styles to it depending on whether you choose to sport the coupe hardtop, roadster soft top or standard convertible look. The roadster soft top was recently replaced so it looks brand new and the car only has about 48k miles since it’s always been a second car for when we’re in town locally. It’s also sitting on a brand new set of tires and has a full size spare and chrome Mercedes rims. I see some stains on the driver’s side floor mat & there is some light wear in the seats from being used over the years along with a couple of tiny nicks in the paint here & there from little road pebbles if you look very closely (not noticeable unless you look for it). The overall paint job is still very clean and the best way to describe this lovely car is that you’d never know it is 28 years old…we’ve babied her every step of the way so she has a time-capsule look to her. This is a beautiful gray market vehicle with a clear title registered in the states but since we ordered it direct from Europe, ebay's system didn't recognize the VIN so I was instructed to enter 17 zeros in the VIN field, but the actual number on the car and title is WDB1070461A003468 and I've taken a pictures of the ID plates for you inside the driver side door as well. It's a V8 automatic with a leather package and power steering, brakes & windows. It also has heated seats and ABS along with cruise control and the original Becker cassette deck.
