Vehicle Detail
Car has been sitting for 25 years. Original SS 427 Impala. Z24 car with automatic with center console and gauge cluster, tach is 5500rpm, VERY RARE TIME CAPSULE!!!! No time to do project, my loss is your gain. Needs restoration. Complete car with rallys, no caps, blue interior/exterior, trim in very good shape but needs cleaning from sitting, factory 12 bolt, F41 suspension. Gas tank has a hole in it from backing into perhaps in yard. Has A/C system, but pump not hooked up. Call for more info. Won't last long. Can send more pictures if needed. Body is very straight. Light surface rust on body, some rust through in trunk and behind rear fender wells very minimal. Needs to go, 14.5k or best offer takes it. SUPER RARE!!! LS6 crate motor from the 70's or 80's, still fresh with extremely LOW mileage on motor, square port heads with big valves, factory square port high rise intake manifold. Car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to cancel auction early. Will add more detailed pictures this weekend when the weather clears up. On Dec-09-12 at 21:54:43 PST, seller added the following information: Lot's more pictures added today on my flickr photo storage site. Go to http://www.flickr.com/photos/39872903@N05/sets/72157632213119352/ to see lots of shots of this car. Just cleaned up the interior and exterior. The chrome and trim look great. There are lots so you can see everything. I couldn't post more than 24 here on Ebay. I always want to see as much as possible when I purchase off of ebay, so I hope you look at all of them. Feel free to email me for more questions or any particular photo you might like to see. Also for reference, I posted some pictures of a gold color 1967 SS427 Impala that sold last April for 68,000.00. This could be there someday with patience. Just to be clear, this car does not have the original motor or transmission in it. This car is a barn find and I do not know if this runs or drives. The brakes do not work. It will be sold as is with no warranty written or implied. This car in my opinion will not take much to get it driving on the road. There is rust on the car, but the floor pans and trunk are solid, just surface rust. Some rust through on fenders by the wheel wells, but not excessively heavy. On Dec-11-12 at 08:44:13 PST, seller added the following information: Cleaned up trim and Chrome over the weekend, see pics. Looks really good. Could be a driver as it sits with some work first. Also cleaned up interior and removed torn headliner. Upholstery cleaned up really nice, in good shape. see pics of that also. Go to the flickr picture site to see the newest pictures with the car cleaned up. http://www.flickr.com/photos/39872903@N05/sets/72157632213119352/ Engine turns over when we put a battery in it, but did not try to start it. Sprayed oil into cylinders before turning over. Just wanted to turn it over to make sure it wasn't seized. Gas tank has hole in it, can be repaired and the fuel lines in my opinion need to be cleaned out. Has an electrical fuel pump at the gas tank. Also, carb and mechanical need to be gone over before trying to start this. Trans cooler lines not connected to cooler, trans cooler missing, but lines are looped together with a hose so no trans fluid leaks out. It leaked some out when tuning the engine over breifly. Don't pass up on this one, these NEVER come along. I personally would want to put a 427 back in it. Easy to do and easy to come by. Happy bidding and thanks for looking. On Dec-11-12 at 19:53:03 PST, seller added the following information: Reserve price lowered!! Someone is going to get a 1967 SS427 Impala for a great price!!! Rare car!! Merry Christmas!! Need to make room for more cars to come.
