Rare & Very Collectable -- REO Flying Cloud -- Master Series Model 20 The Flying Cloud Master Model 20 is truly a real automobile. Some of the main points:120 inch Wheel Base6 Cylinder (268 cubic inch) Chrome Nickle Alloy Engine (advertised as "Good for 100,000 miles). Many times stronger than any other engine on the market. Rated at 80 HP @3200 rpm Five Passenger Sedan -- 4 DoorsREO World Famous "Silent Second" transmission. The REO could slow to 4 mph and exceed 40 mph in 2nd gear, making city driving easier than other carsThe Flying Cloud easily carries 5 adults and can cruise at 70 mph. It is one of the few automobiles of its day that is right at home with today's highway speeds. I'm always nervous when on a 55 mph road in a Model A or similar car. You guys know what I mean, I'm sure. The REO has no trouble staying with traffic.Internal 4-Wheel Hydraulic Brakes. REO was the first to have them. In as-is-condition it can be brought into road worthiness very quickly. Small things need to be done, e.g., the wooden running boards need replacing, etc. (can be seen in the photographs). However, the car is a true candidate to be brought back to its original magnificence. With little investment it can be put in the range of a $35,000 REO.I have 2 carburetors that go with it. It really should have the original "Shebler" unit -- they can be had from several sources. It could be 34k or it could be 94k -- so I opted for the 50k. The odometer is kind of in-between. That's the way it was when I got the car several years ago and it remains that way today.
