This for a 1955 Ford Fairlane Town sedan.This is a very solid old car that runs and drives.The car was bought new in Atlanta Ga and has been in this area it's whole life.The car has a rebuilt 272 Y block with a 2 brl carb.It runs Great with a nice exhaust sound from the dual pipes.The trans shifts as it should and the brakes are good.The car has new shocks.It has been converted to 12 volt and most everything works,but it could use some wirring work.The car has a new gm one wire 12 volt alternator that needs to be installed.The body is very straight and all the trim is here along with a few extra pieces.I have one fender skirt.There are a few minor small pepper holes in the floor boards.The trunk is rust free and super solid.There is some minor rust up by the drip wells.The doors rockers,hood,cowl and trunk lid are all solid.The car actually runs and drives good.The radiator is wrong and will need replacing.There is some of the typical rust on the front crossmember due to battery leakage.This is common on 55-56 fords.The rest of the frame is rust free.All in All,This will make a great family cruiser or a rat rod for a small amount of money.The photos on this one speak for themselfs!!!!
