Vehicle Detail
This is a 1970 Ford LTD in original condition and is originally from North Carolina. The title I have in hand is from Wisconsin. The car is equipped with the popular 390 cu in V8 and automatic transmission. It also is equipped with factory AC, although it is not currently charged. The car is in need of a full paint job and replacement of the vinyl top. I have a new top that I ordered and it is white but not installed. The interior is nice except for the seats, which are very worn with age and need to be reupholstered. The headliner, door panels and carpet are in great condition. The dash pad is unfortunately cracked as they often are. There is very little rust on this car. There is a minor amount around the gas filler and also in the lower rear areas of the rockers. The frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition. There is an Edelbrock Performer 4BBL intake and carburetor on the engine. I do not have the originals. The radiator was replaced before I purchased the car over a year ago. Since then I have replaced the starter motor and solenoid, fuel pump, heater core, spark plugs and wires and purchased four new white wall tires. The car also has the optional "mag" wheel covers for that year. The trunk is solid and only has some surface rust. The car runs and drives excellent and can be driven. I purchased this as a project and never got the opportunity to finish it. It has been here in my driveway for far too long and really needs to go to someone who wants to spend some time getting it back to a nice driver condition. The odometer reads 17k and it clearly has gone around once but I believe that is all. It has a pair of turbo mufflers and it has a very deep rumble that only a 390 can give. I have come to the sad conclusion that I can't save them all and am letting go of some of my projects and this is the last one. It's just too nice to part out or scrap. I thought that I had more pictures but I can't find them, I will get some more and add them ASAP. Please feel free to ask any questions about anything that I undoubtedly forgot. Naturally there is no warranty with this car and I can help arrange shipping if needed. It could be driven home at a reasonable distance. Thanks for looking.
