Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a very rare and very nicely restored 1970 Subaru 360 Van! Just over 600 miles on car since restored. The car has been completely gone through, brakes, engine, trans, interior, exterior etc! I have every receipt for every single nut and bolt and parts I bought for it during the restoration, even paperwork from the 80's. When I first got the car I completely dismantled it, I had the engine rebuild and had forged pistons installed (thanks micro image) :) and had the carb gone through and rebuilt etc! I have a box full of gaskets and misc OEM parts that come with the car. I had all new brake lines made front and rear and had the wheel cylinders rebuilt by ED the Subaru 360 guru and founder of the Subaru 360 club! I built a completely new throttle and choke cable for the car. Gas tank was removed and hot tanked and all new fuel line ran. Car runs and drives like new! I stripped the body down to bare metal and fixed all the body work and reprimed and painted the car inside and out with base clear. I had my interior guy build a complete interior for the car, headliner and all, he also helped me built a targa top for it! (non-functional) The front of the van, all the doors, engine bay door etc are all covered in a 1 inch thick padding to help with car noise, it really helps! The interior is all new and beautiful! I took the wheels off and also painted them body color. I put in brand new tubes and brand new radial tires as well, I even ordered special acorn lug nuts for the wheels! There really is only 2 gremlins with the car, the e brake doesnt work and the speedo kinda has a mind of its own ha! but rather than that its ready to go. To finish the car off I had it pinstriped and put on peep side mirrors and it turned out gorgeous! There has been so much time, money and research involved to restored this little gem, but it has been so worth it! These cars are almost impossible to find in this condition for sale anywhere in the US so take advantage of rare opportunity! Anywhere I drive it, it really is a show stopper:) Im not revealing the reserve, for people that are curious! Thanks!
