Up for auction is a complete 1959 Chevrolet Impala 4 door flat top. She may look ugly in the pictures but she is pretty solid overall! We have owned this car for 8 years and have decided to sell it due to another restoration project we are doing. This car is an original 2 tone Crown Sapphire Metallic and Snow crest White (963D), with Turquoise interior(852 Trim). The engine believed to be the original is a 283 with air conditioning. It did run the last time it was parked 8 years ago. This car has the seamless frame underneath and since this is a heater delete, I am assuming it was a west coast car at one time? The frame has no rot that I can see, the rockers are nice and the fenders have slight rust on the bottom edges, but in good shape. The splash pans on the front and rear are not rusty and beat up like most, and the trunk overall is solid except the spare tire carrier of course. The floor pans as you can see in the photos are nice. All the trim is there and probably some extra too that you see in the trunk. The interior will need done as you can see and it does have a power seat out of a 1961 impala. The stainless trim on the dash is in very nice condition with really no scratches. The rear window is not installed but I have a new weatherstripping set that goes with the car as well as the rear window you see which is in great shape. These flat tops are hard to find. I BELIEVE WITH GAS IN THE TANK IT WILL RUN. WE HAVEN'T RAN IT IN 8 YEARS BUT AS STATED IT RAN FINE THEN AND RECENTLY IT TURNS OVER SO NO REASON TO BELIEVE THE MOTOR WILL NOT RUN. THANKS AGAIN
