here is a rare pontiac that came to Australia as a shell several years ago it is an Oregon car and was registered up till 1986 I have the build sheet and the owners log book and several parts and workshop manuals for the car I have owned the car for several years and have rebuilt it to its current standard The vehicle was stripped back to bare metal and two pot mix painted in Pewter and then rebuilding began.. some of the many new items that I can think of at the moment are listed below I imported every thing new from the states ..AS unlike the canadian pontiac such as the laurentian and parissienne the Bonneville and the Catalina dont follow the Chevy Line but have mainly their own equipment New items are Fuel tank,screen,exhaust,tailshaft and unis,alloy trans cover,chrome 100amp alternator ,chrome high feed fuelpump,chrome engine dressup kit,interior trim, dash ,carpets and seats, B&M quicksiver shifter, sidewindow surrounds ,bonnet hinges, heatercore,hoses and vacuum actuators,power top,and electric hydraulic top pump and hoses,rubbers and seals, and so many more bits to remember the engine was completely rebuilt and as stated is a 400 ci engine from a 68 GTo coupled to the turbo 400 boxthe car is still LHD and is recalibrated to read the speed in Kms.... Now things that you should Know The rear right fender has a small scratch as does the left hand front fender both of which have been touched up but are very minor and a one cent size depression in the bonnet most probably the dent man could fix for a couple of cans of ale ,,,,the Auto trans works fine but a small seal inside the box needs attention sometime, as when the car sits the oil runs back into the lower tray and will weep out of the speedo and gearshift outlets but when the gearbox warms up the seal tightens and it goes like a train but I just havent the time or the inkling to pull the transmission out for a 50c seal the car is an honest unit, sometime down the track you could spend some more on rechroming bumpers etc but all the hard work is done and the old Bonneville bitch still turns heads believe me happy bidding I am only too pleased to give you any more pics you may need to help just email me ,
