1976 Ford ELITE / Torino 2dr Great find ! Lower reserve - bid to win ! 1976 FORD ELITE / TORINO 2 dr coupe Factory Big Block 460 2v w/ C6 auto Rust Free Arizona Garage kept car Drivetrain: original matching #s motor. The car was bone stock up till about 2 yrs ago when last yr the owner decided the car would be better with some more HP and upgrades, so he recently installed all new: Weiend Alum 4v Intake / Holley 750 carb Cloyes double roller TC set / Mild Comp Cam and cam kit Hooker Headers and electric fuel pump. Over $1200 worth of new HP parts. Once installed he lost his job and the car sat for over a yr. After we bought the car we installed new plugs, electronic spark box and drained the old gas. Car fires right up and sounds pretty wicked, mostly due to the fact the headers have yet been connected to the factory dual exhaust. Once the exhaust is connected, it should be road ready. I can get it done locally for about $80. I may try to have that done this week. All the new parts have less then a few hours on them ! Car was well loaded and optioned from the factory with alloy rims, cruise, am/fm cassette, gauge pkg and more. Gas gauge, tach , amp, work. Exterior: ORIGINAL paint is great, body like stock. Buff out the paint and its good for many more yrs. Half vinyl top showing some age being in AZ. INTERIOR shows very well for its age, but what you cant tell by the pics, the carpet is the worst part. Showing some wear and has a smell to it. We cleaned it up and put in a good air freshener. It helped !! Replace the carpet and 99% of your problem would be solved. All power options seem to work, even the radio still, but only 1 speaker works. Dr PW works fine. Could use a little cleaning to the upholstery. Az hasnt beat it up too much like most cars around here since the cars been garaged most of its life. 140 PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. Odometer shows aprox 97k miles which I believe could be original. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. THESE Staggered 19" NEW ALLOY RIMS below w/ used tires would look pretty Cool on the car for an updated 2012 look and can be bought as an option for $500 more if there is a winner and they are interested.
