2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2wd (ebay wouldn't let me enter it as anything other than 4wd for some reason). 156,000 miles. 4.3V6, auto transmission rebuilt at 100k. Truck has a hydraulic liftgate that works well. Also has a rack and heavy diamond plate welded into bed. The good: New within last couple of months: Starter, distributor cap, thermostat, drivers side front wheel hub/bearing. Tires are good all around and have about 85% tread left. Heat and air work great. Also has newer class three hitch. Newer plugs, wires, battery. Truck runs and drives very well. We use it for weekend projects so we haven't added tons of miles to it. Prior owner used truck for vending machine business. Truck always run on synthetic oil and doesn't burn oil. The not so good: Shimmy from front brake rotors. There is plenty of pad left and the brakes work good but the rotors must have a little warpage. Rust in rockers and dings and dents here and there. Digital portion of gauge unit that shows gear selection and mileage worked only intermittently. It annoyed me so I put a used ebay gauge unit in and unfortunately it reads 203000 miles. Original gauge cluster will be included in sale. There is a loose wheel speed sensor wire/connector somewhere which will occasionally kick up the ABS light.
