You are bidding on a real 1979 Z28 camaro. This is a project car that came from California years ago. The body on this car is very clean. You can still see the original spot welds around the rear wheel lip of the quarter pannels. Also, all of the outer wheelhouse on both sides is in great shape. As you can see in the pictures, there is no rust in the trunk. The floors are also very clean, although they are hard to get pictures of. The frame rails and all of the understructure in the back of the car is rust free. The botoms of the rocker pannels are straight and clean with no swelling in the seam. There is a small amount of rust on the bottom of the driver side quarter pannel that can be seen in the pictures. Also, there must have been some rust on the bottom of the rear pannel underneath the bumper. This area has been patched and the job was not very professional. Both of the fenders are also clean on the bottoms where they normally rust. Over all, this is a very clean car to work with. The car was originally dark metallic blue with blue interior. At some point the car was going to be restored and painted purple. The owners got some of it painted and stopped for some reason. Many of the original parts are in the car still. It is tough to tell if they are all there as many parts have been taken off of the car. They also added a sunroof to the car. There is a 350 motor in the car, but I am not sure if it is the originall motor or not. It has headers and no intake or carb. The interior would need to be done to make this car very nice. The seats and everything are driver quality. I think that it could be cleaned up and used if one wanted. The original dash is in great shape (pad and all). It still has the factory tach also in the dash. The odometer reads 44000 miles, but I am not sure that is actual. The price of these cars restored has been rising slow and steadily.
