This car is being relisted because of an international buyer who backed out of the deal. NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS WILL BE CONSIDERED OR ACCEPTED. This auction is for a true “barn find” 1952 MG TD Mark 2. Car has the original upgraded TD3 engine with matching numbers and two fuel pumps. My father bought the car in the late 1960’s and it has been stored in a garage since 1971. Body, including all wood, is original and solid. Car was running when it was stored but currently does not run. Engine turns over and has compression. Car is all original and a perfect restoration candidate for someone passionate about MG TD’s. We believe the car to have been raced at one time and that further investigation would uncover its racing pedigree. The car comes with an extra set of chrome headlights, rebuilt shocks, heater, new old stock hoses, a new convertible top which would need to be installed, a rain cover and various other extra parts – see photos.
