It is owned by a friend of mine who garaged it and was always on time with his maintenance, so this is NOT some auction car that we don’t know the history on. Selling only because their kids are moved out and don't need 2 SUVs anymore. The truck is in Tucson, and I have a signed clear title ready to go. Plates are current through April 2013 and will go with the truck. Description: Paint is in nice condition, shiny with no sun damage and no oxidation. There may be some typical wear or surface scratches on the paint from daily usage but this has not been abused whatsoever and shows real nice. The interior looks beautiful for it's age. Carpet is excellent. This car has normal wear/tear associated with a used car. The truck drives nice, starts right up, tranny shifts smooth, and the 4x4 engaged just like GM intended. The engine runs quiet, as well as the exhaust. A/C front and rear both blow cold. Doors don't sag & shut nice and solid, all windows and switches work, tilt & cruise work, cruises down the freeway at 75 just fine. Seats look amazing as well as arm rests. Bose Stereo works great with no distortion or blown speakers, 6 disc changer in front center console, but I didnt have a CD to try, I'm assuming it works too. All glass is in great shape with no cracks or flaws. This is a daily driver and you should feel confident that it will not let you down, especially getting a truck from out West where you don't ever worry about things like rust or other elements that hurt our beloved rides. This Escalade looks & drives great, but if you are looking for a perfect flawless car, you need to buy a new one at the dealer, not a used car. Flaws: The rear passenger seat has a small tear in the far back seam, and the pull strap to release the rear seat is broken. Simple fixes if you even found it necessary to mess with. The rear bumper was pushed in on 1 side from turning too sharp with a motorcycle trailer attached, but is not really a huge deal and really not that noticeable. I took pics to try and show that. The center console could use some new paint and have the cushion rest re-upholstered, and the steering wheel had wear in the leather, hence the nice steering wheel cover. It may not bother you, but I am a very picky car guy and want to disclose EVERYTHING I can think of. You are getting a solid vehicle that is in remarkable condition and great working order considering its a 2000. When I sell my cars or my friend's cars they must be of a level of quality so my feedback score is to never get tarnished. I end up selling friends or family members cars because they either don't know how to handle the transaction or don't want to deal with it. I am tight with the folks at the local dealer Watson Chevrolet here in Tucson, so I usually mess around with GM stuff and have done so for over 25 years. I had the dealer's detail dept. do a complete top to bottom detail on this Escalade prior to this sale on Nov 13, including shampooed carpets, polished the rims, protective carnauba wax to the paint, conditioned the leather, etc. I also had the dealer perform a full service oil change with Lucas Oil products because I am a believer that Lucas Oil will extend the life of anything that has a motor in it. Recent work within the past 2 months: New front and rear brakes were replaced, new fuel pump, new fuel filter, & the tires are virtually new and have about 3K miles on them. The battery is fairly new. p.s. Fuel pumps are notorious for going out on GM trucks about every 150K. Escalades hold their value if you take care of them, and my wife and I actually own a 99 Escalade ourselves with 330K miles on it that still runs like a champ! Lucas Oil Products really help, and changing oil often and staying on your service helps more than you know! This car is going to give someone many years of pleasure as long as you take care of it, maintain it and respect it. Vehicle will remain un-driven in our garage until it is sold.
