The Honda Element is a uniquely useful vehicle, suitable for the most active lifestyle. Famously designed to withstand the worst you can thow at it both inside and out, the Element brings Honda's reputation for quality, reliability and durability into the world of outdoor recreation and project management.
This particular black Element is noteworthy for its desirable and not commonly found specs: It has real-time all-wheel drive, five-speed manual transmission, and a number of key options including the running boards. It also has the hard-rockin' 270 watt stereo, and the sought-after removable rear sunroof that was part of the all-wheel-drive package. It has been exceptionally well-maintained, and while it is equipped to do battle and win, it has only a few very shallow battle scars (minor dings and paint scratches, nothing big). It is exceptionally clean and you'd guess it has half the mileage it shows or less. Inside and out, this is very much a fresh, well-kept, and ready-to-serve vehicle.
When it comes to usefulness the Element is hard to beat. Its interior was famously designed to be water proof so you can hose it down after a safari! Also the center-opening doors, without a traditional B-pillar, give you a 55.5-inch opening to load bulky items (plus of course you have that huge rear door). The rear seats are easy to remove when you need more hauling space -- 75 cubic feet of it! And the Element has muscle too with its 156-horsepower 2.4 liter i-VTEC engine providing 160 lb/ft of torque.
This vehicle presents very well but as noted above it is not flawless. It has a few paint chips, and a paint scratch on the passenger door. There are a few shallow dings on the hood and roof. As you can see in the pictures these are all small and hard to even photograph. The vehicle is shiny and sweet and the corners are not scraped, as the pictures document.
