Numbers matching & appraised 1978 Macho Trans am.... Number 90 of 202 Number 90 of 202 built in 1978. There are only a so many left. DKM was the builder of these cars straight from the factory. They are now very rare and known collector cars and one of the best american muscle cars in its time. Huge part of history too, Considering Pontiac has been discontinued!!!! I have collected some of the original brochures and wavier/release form from the dealerships, being a high performance car, Owners manuel,ect. also had an easel made for it for car shows and the original DKM tag that was mounted on the console of all True and Original Macho's. A copy was re-made to remain on the car. The original is kept in a safe. All this stuff comes with the car. This car has been appraised for $31,000. It is equipped with: WS6 suspension - Front springs compressed and re-tampered lowering front end 1.5 in. - Koni Shocks - New bushings and mounts in the front and rear end - Larger swaybars added W72 400 C.I. (300 H.P.) Pontiac Engine 6X heads mild cam rejetted and modified carb. ( Q-Jet) and the very desirable Borg Warner 4-speed transmission 3:42 rear end.
