This for a Bright Orange 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle convertible.This is real barn find.This car was driven into a barn in 1992 and parked when the owner wife passed away.It was running fine then.It has not been cranked since.The motor is free and turns over fine.Oil is actually clean.The car is dry underneath.There is no end play, and other than the missing fuel pump and belt, it is complete.I have a brand new starter that will come with it.I am sure it will run with just a little work.The seats are still in excellent shape.The door panels are still useable.The car is very solid overall.There is NO rust in the convertible rails or jack points or the heater channels.Both of the rear floor pans need replacing.The front ones are still good.There is NO rust in the rockers,doors,cowl or fender wells.There is NO rust under the hood or the spare tire well.There is some rust in the rear luggage compartment,behind the rear seat and below the rear seat where the body meets the pan.****See all photos******.These are easily fixed items.The doors are solid and open and shut perfectly.All the glass is good including the rear window.All the convertible top weatherstripping is still suprisingly,in very good shape.Even the window sweeps are still nice.The top fabric and headliner needs full replacement.The frame is good and folds, up and down, like is should.The body on this car is very straight and solid,with NO signs of any damage and only one repaint over the years.The hood trim is in the car,laying on the dash.The front bumper is NOT bent,it just needs adjusting.All the bumper end caps and body seals are still very good.I have a new ignition switch with key and a new starter.The tire will hold air for loading and the e brake works.The photos on this one speak for themselfs!!!!
