1997 GMC JimmyFor auction is a 1997 GMC Jimmy SLE 4 wheel drive, with power windows; power locks; power seats; power driver mirror; sunroof; AM/FM cassette player; and leather interior. This vehicle has 115,323 miles. I have owned it for 2 years but no longer need it. The Jimmy starts up and runs well, transmission shifts fine. It does have some issues and CANNOT be driven at this time due to a rusted-through brake line. Other issues are as follows: electrical short in the interior lights so the bulbs have been removed rust on the bottom of the doors and above the windshield (see pictures) A/C need a recharge, compressor pulley bearings making noise 4 wheel drive does not engage front seat has a hole due to wear (see picture) sun roof does not work clearcoat peeling off the hoodThere are positives too. The tires are in great shape and it has a full spare; other than front seat hole interior is in great shape; gas tank was replaced 2 years ago; 4 speakers have been replaced; driver's mirror has been replaced; all power windows operate; new battery.
