I'm selling this 1984 Chevy Corvette Coupe with a 5.7L CFI engine for a friend. The exterior is in very good condition and interior is very good also. It has 123k miles on it for an average of 4,300 miles per year since bought new. Below is a better description: Motor: The motor is the 5.7L Crossfire Injection with automatic transmission. It runs very good and strong. The motor was rebuilt 20k miles ago. It is fresh!!!! It is strong. It is fast. It's loud. I believe the owner had it built up. Idles at 600 rpm when warm and driving around at stops. The only aftermarket stuff I know it has is chrome tips, exhaust (flowmaster I'm assuming), valve covers, and K&N Air filter. When you turn it on and drive it, you will notice the power immediately. It hauls a.... The Vette sounds like no other!!! The transmission shifts direct and strong and to the point through all gears. May have a shift kit but I do not know for sure. My last 87 Shifted harder than this one. Interior: Seats have (black in color) sheep skin covers on them. Very nice and not junk. Very tight and fit well. Carpet in front of car is in good condition with minor black marks here and there. Carpet in the rear has been re-done with a tan carpet. Very nice but it is not an identical match to the front. He also did the left side door as well with this same carpet. Looks nice. He didn't get around to doing the passenger door. The car is equipped with all power options: brakes, steering, driver seat, windows, doors, mirrors, cruise control, A/C (needs re-charged), and adjusting steering wheel. Factory AM/FM Radio and Tape player work perfectly. No tint on any windows. This thing was kept stock and it is nice!!! Rear hatch opens up strong and solid (there are 3 latch buttons in the car; 1 in the middle console, and 1 each on each door)!!!!!! All Instrument panel lights work. All gauges work properly as they should. Exterior: The Vette's color is the original Gold. It is in very good condition. It has a few nicks here and there. Normal blemishes for a 28 yr old car but totally sound. The paint is in very good condition all around. I polished and waxed the Vette and it looks sharp!!! See pics, I believe the pics don't do it justice. Much better in person in my opinion. The hood is in superb condition as well. It has the original 16" rims mounted on newer Kelly Charger 255/50/16Tires with more approximately 80% tread left (if not more)! Windshield is in great condition as are all windows. I would rate the paint on the car as a 8 of 10. You may think it's better!!! The brakes and rotors are solid. Car stops on a dime. All outside lights function properly on the car (headlights, blinkers, brakes, etc). Flaws: Outside weather strip on drivers side allows a little water to get in at the carwash under heavy pressure. The weather strip is SOLID, so I don't know why it's doing this. I'll look into it. The power antenna doesn't go up or down when the car is turned on but the radio works fine. 1 crack in the dash. Just stating everything I can so you are not surprised. This car is perfect for someone looking for a clean, clean C4 Vette for cheap and for someone who isn't looking for a fixer upper. This is NOT a fixer upper. If your expecting a beautiful used C4 Corvette, this is the car for you. Title: I hold clear, clean NV title. So the process will be easy. Just you and me! If you wish for a bill of sale, let me know and I will have it all drawn out and printed for both our records. Overall: The car is waiting for a new owner. Just what is noted above are the flaws. The car is ready to roll and it is better than 90% of Vette's on the road today. This is not a junk Vette. It is a classy, clean car. One that you will be proud to own and store in your garage to show your friends!!!! I would trust the car, without hesitation, to drive anywhere!!! No heat issues, everything works and operates as it should (except what is noted in flaws). All oil, coolant and pressures hold up excellent with no issues. You will get looks everywhere you go. That's customary with these C4 Vette's or any Vette for the matter. It sounds good, looks good, and you can't go wrong if your looking to make this Vette a daily or pleasure driving vehicle. All sales are final. Buyer is aware the vehicle is being sold AS-IS. No warranties expressed or implied. Buyer is responsible for picking up the Vette or having it shipped to his/her location. $500 deposit via paypal is required less than 48hrs after auctions end. This $500 is non-refundable and will be taken off the final price of the truck upon the sale. If buyer should default on the terms of agreement of the sale, the seller (me) will keep the buyers $500 deposit. All sales are final. No other considerations will be made after final sale.
