Vehicle Detail
1974 Triumph TR-6, Converrtible, CALIFORNIA CAR! Have California Title in hand. Car does not run (for shipping purposes) as engine is pulled currently and gas tank disconnected. I started the car when I got it. It runs nice. Oil Pressure good , 60PSI, no smoke. This is a project restoration car. I bought the car with the intent to restore. However, my wife said NO! Have to sell the car, otherwise I sleep on the couch. I bought the car a few months ago from a gentleman from California. Car appears to have been stored since 1998, as that is the last year it was registered in California. Had the car shipped to me in Texas. Car is garaged. Little surface rust. Frame looks perfectly straight. small dime size dings here and there, nothing major. Some rust on the right rear wing will need to be adressed above the tail light assy. Rocker panels are rusted out. I have new ones in the box. I pulled engine with the intent to go through it, and thats when my wife put the hammer down. Engine and transmission will be reinstalled to facilitate transport. However, I was able to take some good pictures of the engine bay with the engine and transmission out. Have all mirrors in boxes, and in good shape. all chrome looks good, bumpers nice and straight, no dings. needs polish and TLC. new battery also. Let me describe the good, the bad, and the ugly. Good: -Body is nice and straight -Frame is nice and straight, minimal rust -Engine runs, and transmission shifts smoothly -Seats look like new, good seat tracks too. -New dash (metal) -I have lots of new parts in boxes ready for you. Some older./used parts too. You will see various boxes around the car with parts in them. You get that too. 2 spare carbs, 1 spare starter, 1 petronix electronic ignition, spare coil, 2 spare fuel pumps, misc. spare parts, nuts and bolts, trim badges, restore manual. Have toneau cover and boot cover too. 7 quarts of high quality emerald green metalic paint included.I have new coil springs front and rear, new shocks front and rear, and gas shock conversion kit in the box. also have coil spring compressor included. I have 2 spare brake calipers, spare brake master cyclinder, spare brade pads front and rear, and also brand new front wheel rotors. Other misc. parts that are in the boxes that I don't feel like going through. Spare windshield frame, have the chrome beauty rims. rims look nice and straight. all 4 tires are used, but I bought them from a local dealer as they are trade ins. They hold air and are not dry rotted or anything. have spare tire and rim also. Removed all wiring as some of it did not look good at all. Bad: -Original carpet is retained. It should be replaced -No guages -Wood dash is chipped in places -Convertible top is shot, frame is good. -No luggage rack. Must have been stolen. Ugly: - Rocker panels -No guages - Right window is broken out/Missing. I have a new one in the box. Happy to answer questions as best I can.
